In the nice fishing village Ireon we rent out rooms with a beautiful view over the sea. The rooms are spaceous and clean (daily cleaning) with bathroom, balcony and air condition. The beach is just a few metres away and the square is right outside. There are several restaurants, 2 traditional cafes, internet cafe and  several bars which are nice to visit in the evening. Apart from some traditional music-dance evenings Ireon every year hosts a 3 day Rockfestival with both national and internationel bands.
Trough its central position other parts of the Island is easy to reach. The island is ideal for both beach lovers and people who wants to hike (since 2007 there are diving possibilitys). 1 km away the Hera Temple is located on the island there is a lot of things to see for culture interested people.

In our Kava (a kind of winestore) we have a good variation of quality Greek wines (the famous Samos wines of course) and almost all other products of the Island: Oil, Honey, herbs, eteric oils and ceramics.

Ireon-Samos.....The place where Gods were born.

Ireon is the place witch was long before people, inhabited by the Olympian Gods.

The villages is situated at the souht-eastern coast of Samos island. It lies at the mouth of the river Imvrasos, where according to our tradition grand Goddess Hera was born. (Pausanias VII 4,4).

Beyond its long lasting history, its substructure and its modern amenities the village still remains picturesque and hospitable.

Ireon is famous not only for its magnificent temple (6st century B.C.) but also for the beautiful nature surroundings. It forms as an extension of one of the largest seashores of our country      (6 km) and it is surrounded with a forest of olive groves and the finest wine-yards from where the  famous worldwide and prize-winning wine of Samos orginates.
